How many times have we come across stickers bearing this message? Frequently, perhaps.
And lest we overlook the message it carries, the image of Jesus displaying his Sacred Heart reminds us that, indeed, God is love.
His heart is badly wounded caused by our sins.
But it is also eternally in flame because of his passion to love us until the end.
“God is love” is not an empty slogan. It is a beautiful reminder that we have a great God who invites us to no end to reciprocate His great love by choosing only thoughts, words and deeds that will proclaim His greatness.
