A rainy day of Monday

It rained for more than 24 hours, yesterday. The downpour started on the afternoon of Sunday. Too bad because we're supposed to go for a hike yesterday. when we had the Mass yesterday morning, I even prayed for "a safe and enriching hike," unfortunately, the trip was cancelled because of the unfriendly weather.

But staying in the novitiate house--with the rest of my housemates--in a cold rainy Monday was fun!

Boni prepared pancit canton for snacks and brewed his Italian coffee to the delight of everybody (that is, migs and I--the rest of them seem not to have developed the "acquired taste" for such coffee).

Noble wanted to have some popcorn, but since the microwave was useless because of the power shortage, we only settled for some junk food readily available in the stockroom of the kitchen .

When I surfed the Net, I found out that the heavy rains weren't brought by the la niƱa phenomenon. Cebu was already experiencing typhoon.
